Manage task progress with quantification
Quantitative tasks have been loved by everyone since they were launched. In the Goal Map, quantitative tasks can not only track the progress of tasks, but also can be freely combined with cycle attributes, bringing more possibilities for everyone's task management. This article will introduce quantitative tasks from the following aspects so that you can use them better:

What are Quantitative Tasks?
As a typical method of progress management, quantification has many usage scenarios in life and work, such as reading books, saving money or project progress. Quantitative tasks can be used as long as they can be clearly quantified and progress needs to be managed.
How are quantitative tasks used?
1. How to create quantitative tasks
When creating a task, turn on the "quantized value" switch to convert a common task into a quantitative task , and then set the start value and target value according to the specific scene. Take the task of reading a new book as an example. If you need to manage the reading progress, you can turn on the quantization switch, and set the start value to 0, and the target value to the total number of pages in the book.
2. How to complete the quantitative task
Quantitative tasks have 2 notions of completion :
Complete permanently: When the quantization of the task is enabled, the task is completed when the total recorded value reaches the target value.
Daily completion (recurring tasks only): When quantification is enabled for recurring tasks, you can customize the daily completion rules:
1). When the daily target value is reached, the check-in will be completed on that day;
2). When there is a daily record, it will be counted as the completion of the day's check-in. This mode does not require a daily target amount. As long as it is greater than or equal to 1, the task of the day will be completed.
⚠️Note: Quantitative tasks will only have a daily completion status if the cycle is enabled at the same time. If it is an acyclic quantitative task, the entire task will only be completed when the total target value is reached.
3. Data for quantification tasks
On the task card of the quantified task, you can see the current progress of the task; on the task details page, you can see more detailed information about the progress - how much progress is ahead or delayed , this information can help you catch up or adjust schedule. Enter the data details page, you can see a more intuitive progress chart , and grasp at a glance whether the current progress status is healthy or not.
